Nusavoxmedia.id – Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (KSAD) Jenderal TNI Maruli Simanjuntak menilai penanganan bencana banjir dan longsor di Aceh, Sumatera Utara, dan Sumatera Barat kali ini sebagai yang tercepat sepanjang pengalamannya dalam operasi bantuan kemanusiaan TNI. Penilaian tersebut disampaikan Maruli dalam konferensi pers di Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta Timur, Senin (29/12/2025).
“Jadi rekan-rekan media sekalian, saya perjalanan penugasan tentara sudah berpuluh-puluh kali melakukan bantuan bencana. Ini yang saya berani menyatakan ini yang tercepat,” kata Maruli, dikutip dari kanal Youtube Sekretariat Presiden.
Ia membandingkan kecepatan penanganan saat ini dengan sejumlah bencana besar yang pernah ia alami, seperti erupsi Gunung Merapi, bencana di Lembata, serta banjir di Adonara, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Menurut Maruli, percepatan tersebut tidak terlepas dari arahan langsung Presiden Prabowo Subianto yang memimpin koordinasi penanggulangan bencana.
“Ini Presiden memimpin langsung kepada kami perintah-perintahnya, sehingga ini sangat-sangat cepat. Tidak ada yang secepat ini, saya yakini itu,” ujarnya.

Maruli menyebut salah satu indikator percepatan penanganan terlihat dari pembangunan infrastruktur darurat, khususnya jembatan bailey. Hingga kini, TNI telah membangun 12 jembatan bailey, enam di antaranya masih dalam proses pemasangan, sementara 15 jembatan lainnya dalam perjalanan dari Jakarta menuju lokasi terdampak bencana.
“Dalam kondisi begini kita bisa bangun 12 jembatan bailey. Minggu-minggu ini dua jembatan bailey akan selesai,” kata Maruli.
Ia menambahkan, sejumlah jembatan bailey telah digunakan masyarakat, antara lain di Teupin Mane, Teupin Reudep, Jeumpa, Matang Bangka, Kutablang, dan Weh Pase. Selain itu, jembatan di Hamparan Perak dan Anggoli Sibabangun juga telah tergelar. Secara keseluruhan, TNI telah membangun 32 jembatan bailey di wilayah terdampak.
Ke depan, TNI juga menargetkan percepatan pemasangan jembatan tambahan yang akan didatangkan dari luar negeri. Maruli menyebut pemerintah tengah mengupayakan pengadaan hingga 100 unit jembatan bailey yang diharapkan dapat mulai terpasang pada Januari hingga Februari mendatang.
Maruli menegaskan seluruh langkah penanganan bencana telah melalui evaluasi BNPB dan rapat lintas instansi guna memastikan hasil terbaik bagi masyarakat terdampak.
“Yakinlah apa langkah-langkah ini sudah hasil evaluasi dari pemerintah,” katanya.
